The Orléans CNRS campus

Situated in a quiet and beautiful park just 20 minutes away from the city center, the Orléans CNRS campus is one of the largest in France and hosts several research laboratories in domains ranging from molecular biophysics to material, space and geophysical sciences. The conference will take place in the Charles Sadron lecture hall at the local CNRS headquarters (délégation CNRS)

How to get there

  • The nearest airport is Paris Orly. Orléans is just a one-hour train ride away from the railway station Paris Austerlitz. The easiest is to take a taxi from Orly to the train station (about 25 EUR). Trains are frequent (approximately every hour), with a hole between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
  • If you are driving and have a GPS: +47 50' 17.35", +1 56' 33.84"

  • If you are staying at a hotel in the La Source area, the CNRS campus is only a ten-minute walk away.
  • From the Railway station take the bus number 7 or 13 and get off at the stop "Recherche Scientifique" (approximately 20 minutes journey) or at the stop "Diderot" (approximately 25 minutes). You can download a route map of bust number 7 here
