High Pressure Molecular Biophysics Conference 2008
Hands-on tutorial: "Molecular simulation at the interface with spectroscopic and imaging experiments"
A half-day hands-on tutorial on molecular simulation at the interface with spectroscopic and imaging experiments will be proposed in connection with the workshop "High Pressure Molecular Biophysics" at the Synchrotron SOLEIL. The tutorial will take place 9 december 2008, one day before the workshop, from 15:00 to 18:00.
The following techniques will be proposed:
The number of participants is limited to 15. Each participant will have a workstation to work on a subset of the techniques of his/her own choice under the guidance of experienced tutors.

The following techniques will be proposed:
- Molecular Dynamics simulations of biomolecules using the Molecular Modelling Toolkit
- Normal mode analysis for proteins using the Molecular Modelling Toolkit
- Secondary structure analysis with ScrewFit
- Comparison to experimental data:
- crystallography
- relaxation NMR
- neutron scattering (nMOLDYN)
